Production Manager Permanent / full time

Put your management skills to use! Go2 People are working on behalf of their client to find the right fit for their company as a Production Manager. The right person for the role will be someone who has worked within a company who have made niche or bespoke items and not mass production.

In the role of Production Manager your duties will include:

· Managing a team of up to 45

· To supervise and motivate the team

· Ensure KPIs are achieved

· Responsible for leading, coaching and developing the section leaders

· Identify any training/development needs

· Discuss and record Health & Safety, quality, production and maintenance

· Liaising between all departments across all four separate sites

· Monitor and drive the daily production plan

· Attend sales meetings, when required

· Assist the Sales team to enhance customer relations, including customer site visits

· Oversee time and attendance, general discipline, hiring and training of new employees

· Investigate labour time & material variances, work with production/engineering to improve production efficiencies. Improve on time delivery

· Keep control of costs, overtime, consumables, etc

· Maintain and promote the company’s policies and procedures

· Produce management reports

To be successful in the role of Production Manager you will need:

· At least 2 year’s experience in Production Management role producing unique products

· Ability to communicate clearly with your team, staff and customers

· Have good leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines

· Good IT skills, minimum requirement comfortable with MS Office.

· A results-driven approach to work

· Be able to work under pressure and multitask

This is a full time permanent role, working 40hrs per week, Monday – Friday, with a starting salary of £45,000.
