Who should attend this course?
Do you handle meals / food prepared by other people?
Are you a low risk food handler?
Or do you need induction training for new staff, non-kitchen staff in a food business (eg bar staff, cleaners, health care workers)?
Then this course is for you.
½ day course – four hours
This is a short course covering the essentials of food safety, ideal for new entrants or non-kitchen staff working in a food environment.
- Personal responsibilities for food safety
- Importance of personal hygiene
- Importance of cleaning
- General food safety
The course concludes with a multiple choice exam, with different versions for catering, manufacturing or retail.
